- 2. RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.
- 3. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner which does not infringe the rights, or restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the site by any third party.

In no event will RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from the use or in connection with such use or loss of use of the site, whether in contract or in negligence.

- 6. The Vision, Mission and Objectives have been framed by the Directors and Promoters of the Foundation and represent their opinion only.
- 7. The roles of the National Advisors and the Expert Panel members are purely honorary. The Governing Council may decide on remuneration/honorarium to be paid for their services extended as per the Official Agreement between them and the Foundation depending on a combination of the funds available and the services rendered by them for creating social benefits in creating awareness among the public with respect to sustainability issues.
- 8. Issues relating to Employees/Consultants/Vendors with respect to scope of work and remuneration amongst others will be discussed and resolved in the Governing Council Meeting and decisions taken shall remain binding.
- 9. Issues relating to the scope of work and remuneration of the Panel of Experts/Reviewers are at the discretion of the Directors and the Governing Council, subject to the availability of funds and donations.
- 10. Issues relating to the scope work and remuneration of the Guides/Mentors/Supervisors are at the discretion of the Directors and the Governing Council, subject to the availability of funds and donations.
- 11. The contributing authors to the RISHIS publications are encouraged to use the state-of-art technology including AI tools. In order to ensure originality of the work they are required to submit an undertaking duly endorsed by their institutional authority in addition to a plagiarism check report and declaration of AI usage.
- 12. Candidates submitting Applied Research Papers & Descriptive Papers should have read the content relating to the Five Types of Applied Research and Descriptive Papers in the Handbook and User Manual in addition to the content on the website itself. Paper submission is subject to approval of the abstract for the same.
- 13. It is mandatory for the candidates to submit papers online only as per Template 1 or Template 2 on the web portal and explained in the Handbook and User Manual.
- 14. Candidates are only allowed to communicate or query through the info-link: ‘Contact us’ on the web portal.
- 15. Any attempt to communicate directly with the Directors, Promoters, Advisors, Panel of Experts would automatically lead to disqualification of the submission and forfeiture of the fees paid.
- 16. The Panel of Experts decisions are binding and no queries will be entertained.
- 17. The abstracts will be reviewed and appropriate comments given to proceed with the paper writing and submission on the web portal. Modification will be allowed only once before the final submission of the paper.
- 18. Candidates are required to be discrete in their queries, refrain from inappropriate or abusive language.
- 19. Candidates are required to read the RISHIS Handbook and User Manual as well as the instructions on the web portal. Such instructions are liable to change and it is the candidates’ responsibility to track and be aware of such changes.

- 20.1. Commercial use or publication of all or any item displayed is strictly prohibited without prior authorization from RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring any license by RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION to use any item displayed.
- 20.2.Documents may be copied for personal use only on the condition that copyright and source indications are also copied, no modifications are made and the document is copied entirely. However, some documents and photos have been published on this site with the permission of the relevant copyright owners who are not part of RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION. All rights are reserved on these documents and permission to copy them must be requested from the copyright owners whose sources are indicated within these documents/photographs.
- 20.3. Articles, Essays, Technical Papers from the RISHIS ONLINE JOURNAL may be quoted after acknowledging the source and appropriate citation. The same maybe used for academic or educational purpose with due acknowledgement or citation.
- 20.4. Contents extracted from the RISHIS NEWSLETTER maybe used for academic or educational purpose with due acknowledgement of the source.
- 20.5. RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION takes no responsibility for the content of external Internet sites. Other websites linked to are owned and operated by third parties and RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION has no control over them. The fact that we include links to other websites does not mean that RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION approves of or endorses any other third party website or the content of that website. - 21. Refund Policy
- 21.1. RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION policy with respect to FUNDS and DONATIONS is fully transparent and includes the following salient features:
- a. A list of Donors and their Advertisements will be hosted on the web portal for the current financial year.
b. The donors may be informed about the utilization of their donations towards Social Service, Applied Research Work, Scholarships and actual Foundation Expenses.
c. The Donation amount will be considered for 80 G Tax rebate benefit.

- 21.2. RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, because of the Cardholder. Once a donation has been made for a particular purpose, no refund can be made of the donation; nor can the end purpose be changed.
- 21.3. All donations will be eligible for tax deduction benefits under Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act as per the rules

- 21.5. Candidates submitting Applied Research and Descriptive Papers can make payments through CRM/ Razorpay wherein the receipt is generated automatically or using the UPI ID or scanning the QR Code wherein their receipts are generated by Admin of RISHIS APPLIED RESEARCH FOUNDATION.
- 21.6. Payments once made, as either funds/donations or fees registration/semester fees, will not be refunded.
