Registration Process

Who all can participate? ( Refer 2.0 Research Institute for Sustainable Habitat and Indic-Studies (RISHIS ONLINE)

Rishis ‘Applied Research’ Participants may be of the following category:

1. Individuals
2. Groups
3. Multi-disciplinary groups
4. Collaborative efforts

Note: Collaborative, Multi-Disciplinary Group work will be encouraged and given credit for innovative contributions made.

The above ‘Applied Research’ participants may be from the following

Institutions, Organizations & Interested Public:

1. High Schools (Students with Teachers as Guides)
2. Technical Institutions (Students with Professors as Guides)
3. Architecture Colleges (Students with Professors as Guides)
4. Medical Institutions (Students with Professors as Guides)
5. Law Schools (Students with Professors as Guides)
6. Other Disciplines (Students with Professors as Guides)
7. Business Houses/MNCs/Corporate Sectors (Employees)
8. Public Participation (Individuals, Businessmen, Teachers, Professors, Doctors, Lawyers, etc. from all walks of life)

Note: Interested Participants in Groups from High schools & Colleges may collaborate with Professionals from various disciplines. Public Participation is also encouraged.

Registration Type Fees:

1. Public Participation (PP): 100/-
2. High School Students (HS) ( Class 8, 9, 10, 11, 12): 200/-
3. Undergraduate Students (UG) (of any Discipline): 500/-
4. Postgraduate Students (PG) (of any Discipline): 800/-
5. Company Employees (CE): 1000/-

User/Candidate Read & Accept  ‘ Annexure 2: Terms & Conditions as mentioned in the RISHIS Handbook & User manual 2025 ‘ and clicks on ‘Pay and Register’ button. It opens up payment screen where various payment options are provided to user to pay Semester Fees of Rs. 25,000/-.

User selects one of the payment methods and makes the payment.

Selected Papers, Certifications, Title & Expenses

• Selected Papers will be hosted in the Web Portal in the related State/District and awarded Certificates as mentioned above.
• Participants publishing more than one paper will progress from Minor to Major and Advanced, preferably in the same domain or area of research. This will facilitate the Advanced level participants, who may pursue PhDs in Universities.
• Similar to the prefix of ‘Dr’ for a PhD scholar, the Advanced Level Applied Research Participants may be awarded the Title and prefix ‘RISHI’, which is the first of its kind in the country, depending on the ‘Degree of Innovation’ as decided by the Foundation Experts.
• Donations if made are distributed and used for actual Expenses of Innovative Participants, Guides & Experts, towards Social Service & Foundation Activities.
• The Donors can avail the benefit of 80G Tax rebate. Also the Donors brief Advertisement containing their Logo, Name, Address, Images & Web Link may be hosted on RISHIS web portal rishisfoundation.org along with the selected Applied Research or Descriptive Paper pertaining to the State/District concerned.

Paper Types

As of now RISHIS is offering semester wise certificates in the following 5 types of papers:

No.1 – Applied Research Paper in Sustainable Habitat
No.2 – Applied Research Paper in Indic Studies of Natural Resources
No.3 – Applied Research Paper in Indic Studies of Cultural Resources
No.4 – Descriptive Paper in Indic Studies of Natural Resources
No.5 – Descriptive Paper in Indic Studies of Cultural Resources

Semester wise Certification

Applied Research & Descriptive Papers need to be completed in one semester (six months/180 days) from the date of registration and payment of Semester Fees.
Semester Fees: @ Rs. 25,000/- per Semester

• RISHIS (MINOR) is of 1 Semester,
• RISHIS (MAJOR) is of 2 Semesters,
• RISHIS (ADVANCED) is of 4 Semesters.

Selection of Papers

A Screening Committee from the Expert Panel in every State will return for modification/select or reject the submitted papers depending on acceptance or their Degree of Innovativeness –

Semester Fees: @ Rs. 25,000/- per Semester may be utilized towards the following:

1. Social Service*
2. Foundation Expenses*
3. Participants Expenses*
4. Guides & Experts Honorarium*

 

• Furtherance of Objectives
• The particular type of Social Service undertaken by RISHIS Foundation will be highlighted on the web portal News Letter, as and when the Contributions, Donations and Funds arrive.
• After the actual **Expenses of running the Foundation are done, the remainder amount will be for Social Services.
• Applied Research **Expenses of the Participants may be paid as per actual receipts/vouchers produced after successful selection of Excellent Paper only.
• Guides/Supervisors may also be paid an honorarium on successful selection of an Applied Research & Descriptive Papers.

Scholarships and Awards for exceptionally Innovative & Excellent Applied Research & Descriptive Papers will depend on the availability of funds and donations. The decision is to be made by the Foundation/Governing Council. Needy and eligible Students/Participants may also be encouraged with funding, to do Applied Research & Descriptive Papers.
