CERTIFICATIONS & *SCHOLARSHIPS*:

Three Certificates as mentioned below for ‘‘ 5 types of Applied Research & Descriptive Papers” are being awarded by the RISHIS FOUNDATION:
An Applied Research or Descriptive Paper, needs to be completed in 1 semester comprising of six months.

  1. RISHIS (MINOR)* ‘APPLIED RESEARCH or DESCRIPTIVE’ CERTIFICATE for One Paper completed in Six Months or One Semester.
  2. RISHIS (MAJOR)* ‘APPLIED RESEARCH or DESCRIPTIVE’ CERTIFICATE for Two Papers completed in One Year or Two Semesters.
  3. RISHIS (ADVANCED)* ‘APPLIED RESEARCH or DESCRIPTIVE’ CERTIFICATE for Four Papers completed in Two Years or Four Semesters.

Note: Descriptive Papers fall under the category of research through documentation of existing Natural & Cultural Resources of our Indian Districts. This type of research adds to knowledge base through documentation & description of primary data with inferences. Unlike Applied Research, the Descriptive Papers do not solve or resolve any issues.

TABLE OF CERTIFICATES AND EXPENSES **:

The Table provided below indicates Three Types of Certificates 1. Rishis (Minor), 2. Rishis (Major), 3. Rishis (Advanced) in all 5 types of Applied Research Papers (1,2,3) & Descriptive Papers (4,5).
There are a total of 15 Certificates, along with the Certificate for Award & Title of “RISHI” for the best amongst Excellent category. It also shows the distribution of expenses in four categories d. Social Service, e. Foundation Expenses, f. Participants Expenses  &  g. Guides Expenses, which are only suggestive.

Note: The Donations of Rs.25000/- per semester shown in  c  may be shared by the Participants, Institutions, Sponsorers or through Grants if available in the Foundation.

DEGREES OF INNOVATION

* The submitted Applied Research & Descriptive Papers may fall into the following Degrees of Innovation:

  • Innovative
  • Very Innovative
  • Excellent
  • Award of  Title & Prefix ‘ RISHI ‘ for the best amongst Excellent category.

SELECTED PAPERS, CERTIFICATIONS, TITLE & EXPENSES

  1. Selected Papers will be hosted in the Web Portal in the related State/District and awarded Certificates as mentioned above.
  2. Participants publishing more than one paper (Minor) will progress to Major and Advanced, preferably in the same domain or area of research. This will facilitate the Advanced level participants may pursue PhDs in Universities.
    Similar to the prefix of ‘Dr’ for a PhD scholar, the Advanced Level Applied Research Participants may be awarded the Title and prefix  ‘RISHI’, which is the first of its kind in the country.
  3. Donations if made, are distributed and used for actual **Expenses, only towards Social Service, Foundation Activities, Participants and their Guides. The Donors can avail the benefit of 80G Tax rebate. Also the Donors brief Advertisement containing their Logo, Name, Address, Images & Web Link may be hosted on RISHIS web portal www.rishisfoundation.org along with the selected Applied Research & Descriptive  Paper pertaining to the State/District concerned.
  4. A list of Social Services has been already given by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as furtherance of Objects. The particular type of Social Service undertaken by RISHIS FOUNDATION will be highlighted on the web portal News Letter, as and when the Donations arrive.
  5. After the actual **Expenses of running the Foundation are done, the remainder amount will be routed for Social Services.
  6. Applied Research **Expenses of the Participants may be paid as per actual receipts/vouchers produced after successful selection of Excellent Paper only.
  7. Guides/Supervisors may also be paid on successful selection of an Applied Research & Descriptive Papers.

NOTE

*SCHOLARSHIPS* AND AWARDS for exceptionally Innovative & Excellent Applied Research & Descriptive Papers, will depend on the availability of funds and donations. The decision is to be made by the Board/Governing Council.
Needy and eligible Students/Participants may also be encouraged with funding, to do Applied Research.
**EXPENSES: To be decided by the Board/Governing Council.
